Milton Mackier is a director and attorney who is passionate about delivering practical, strategic, and cost-effective legal solutions tailored to his clients’ needs. He obtained his LLB from the North-West University in 2020 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2023. He also holds rights of appearance in the Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court. In 2024, Milton further enhanced his specialist expertise by obtaining a Diploma in Insolvency Litigation and Administration Practice.
Milton specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with particular expertise in insolvency and restructuring, business rescue, construction disputes, franchise litigation, and general commercial matters. He regularly advises and litigates on behalf of companies, directors, shareholders, liquidators, business rescue practitioners, and other stakeholders on complex commercial disputes. His experience includes acting for prominent franchise brands such as Nando’s, Bootlegger Coffee Company, and Wiesenhof Coffee.
In addition, Milton has developed a growing sports law practice, advising sports agencies, professional athletes, and sporting organisations on contractual, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Milton is a member of the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association (SARIPA) and INSOL International, and is also an accredited mediator. Appointed as a director in May 2026, he is recognised for his commercial insight, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.
